Terms of service

Last updated 18 September 2026. These terms are between you and Cyticx, LLC ("we", "us") for the RankSteer service.

1. What you are agreeing to

By using ranksteer.com, requesting a visibility report, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to do that.

2. What we provide

RankSteer performs local visibility work and reports on it. Depending on your plan that includes checks on your website and business listing, applying fixes where you have given us access, tracking rank and map position, checking AI assistant answers, writing and publishing posts, and drafting or publishing review replies.

A free visibility report is exactly that: a one-off report, with no ongoing service attached.

3. What we do not guarantee

• We do not guarantee rankings, positions, traffic, calls or revenue. Search engines and AI platforms decide what they show. Anyone who guarantees a position is guaranteeing something they do not control.
• We do not guarantee that a third-party platform will remain available, keep its current features, or approve a given piece of content.
• Results vary by business, market, competition and starting point.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate business information. Work done on wrong details produces wrong results.
• Hold the rights to anything you give us to publish, including photographs.
• Keep your account credentials to yourself.
• Review anything you have chosen to have published automatically. You remain the publisher of what appears in your business name.
• Use the service lawfully, and not to publish anything deceptive, defamatory or in breach of a platform's rules.

5. Access you grant us

Where you connect a platform account or give us website access, you authorise us to use it for the work in your plan and nothing else. You can withdraw that access at any time; some parts of the service will stop working when you do, and we will tell you which.

6. Fees and billing

• Plan prices are per location, in US dollars, and are published on the pricing page.
• Plans are billed monthly in advance. There is no setup fee.
• Taxes, where they apply, are added.
• If a payment fails we will tell you before anything is switched off.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part months. We can also stop providing the service, with notice, and will refund any period you have paid for and not received.

8. Your data and your content

Your business data stays yours. You grant us the licence needed to perform the service, including publishing approved content on your behalf. We handle personal data as described in the privacy notice. On request after cancellation we will provide a copy of your reports.

9. Our material

The RankSteer software, reports, name, logo and website are ours. You may use your own reports freely inside your business. You may not resell the service or present it as your own product without a written agreement.

10. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by a third-party platform's decisions, and our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially we will tell customers before the change applies to them. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction. Before starting anything formal, contact us; almost everything is resolved by a phone call.
